Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind in partnership with the Washington Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and ClickAndGo Wayfinding will host a launch event on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Metro Headquarters. The National Capital Transportation Planning Board contributed to the development of this project.
ClickAndGo is an audio-mapping and orientation technology that gives highly detailed walking directions to pedestrians who are blind or visually impaired. Currently, Metro customers who are blind or visually impaired are not able to access detailed information regarding the physical layout of a Metrorail station or a Metrobus transit center.
Please RSVP by Friday, October 24 to Jocelyn Hunter at email@example.com or by calling 202-454-6422. Seating is limited. Please notify of special accommodations.
