A special Easter Egg Hunt for children who are visually impaired. Volunteers from the Verizon TelecomPioneers make the beeping eggs for the children to find them by sound. Each egg is coded with a monetary amount that is given to the child. They will have several chances to locate eggs and collect more money. If you have a child ages 2-18 or know of a child that is visually impaired, bring him or her to this special event designed specifically for them. Siblings are also welcome but will be blindfolded.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the children and serving refreshments.
Refreshments will start at 9:30 and the program will begin promptly at 10:00. It is scheduled to end at around 11:30. Prizes and Easter baskets will be given to the participants and goodie bags and books for their siblings.
