“Illuminations and Impressions” is an exhibition of art and design created by people who are blind or have low vision. This exhibition is a project of Columbia Lightouse for the Blind, designed and installed in collaboration with students from the Master of Arts in Exhibition Design program at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at The George Washington University. The team of student designers worked on this exhibition through an initiative called DesignCorps, an opportunity for client-based, real-world exhibition projects.
The exhibit will last from Thursday, April 6th to Thursday, May 4th. The gallery will be open on Tuesdays from 12-5 PM, Fridays from 12-6 PM and by appointment. If interested in scheduling an appointment, please contact Elizabeth Knipp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
