Career Lab

The CLB Career Lab provides a regular time and place for active job seekers to network and utilize the resources of Career Services at CLB. During Career Lab, CLB staff members are available to assist with resume development, reviewing classified ads and job announcements, career counseling, and group discussions.

Job seekers use this time to access assistive technology for independent job searches, to prepare resumes and business correspondence, and to brush up on individual computer skills. Group discussions may focus on the areas of career options, job-seeking skills, resume development, communication skills, interviewing techniques, employer expectations, Social Security issues, the impact of the Americans with Disabilities Act, entrepreneurship, developing job leads and networking.
