The Columbia Lighthouse is dedicated to opening doors of employment opportunity for blind and low vision individuals.

Our National Recruitment Initiative is designed to:

• Create an extensive resume database of blind and low vision individuals who are interested in challenging and competitive employment in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Identify job and internship opportunities in the DC Metro area.
• Provide job placement assistance.
• Serve as a clearinghouse for information on employment strategies.
