Kathleen Kroon, Manager of Vision Rehabilitation Services
CLB’s Manager of Vision Rehabilitation Services, Kathleen Kroon, has worked in the field of blindness for 20 years; serving clients in both state and private agencies. She taught Braille literacy, as well as vocal music, for seven years at the Missouri School for the Blind. During her previous employment in Ohio, Kathleen wrote a curriculum for Braille, as well as for Activities of Daily Living. From 2013 to 2015, Kathleen was employed with Maryland DORS. During this time, she assisted with the annual Braille Challenge held at the Maryland School for the Blind in Baltimore. Kathleen obtained her master’s in Vision Rehabilitation Therapy at Northern Illinois University located in DeKalb Illinois. She enjoys assisting individuals with visual impairments to achieve independence. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys singing and playing the piano for her church.
