Career advice - individually tailored
At CLB, career specialists meet with you one-on-one to offer individually tailored vocational and skills assessments, job search strategies, resume preparation tips, interviewing techniques and networking skills.
Resume tips and mock interviews
CLB's innovative workshops on resume preparation, self-assessment and goal setting, job search techniques, interviewing skills and options for disclosing a disability to an employer enable you to acquire the information needed to succeed in today's competitive job market.
Aggressive recruitment and job placement
CLB actively recruits skilled candidates from across the country to fill challenging positions in the growing fields of customer service, technology and business administration. Several federal agencies and private companies recruit employees through CLB. CLB-trained employees have obtained positions with employers such as:

Employment Marketing Skills Training (EMST)
EMST is an extensive classroom course that is designed to develop employment skills that include interviewing, resume building, cold calling, marketing, and addressing a disability with an employer. This course covers subjects such as using job websites, creating an internet resume, how to turn rejection into opportunity, becoming easy to hire, and tapping the hidden job market. In order to thoroughly address specific subject areas, professional consultants and expert speakers are used.
Training Internship Program (TIP)
TIP is primarily for those that are in need of experience and/or an open door to employment. The program creates an opportunity for the client to be placed permanently with the training source site/employer. TIP provides individualized comprehensive instruction in one of the following areas: Switch Board Operator/PBX Operator, Office/Administrative Assistant, Customer Service/Call Center, and any professional level occupation - accounting, law clerk, attorney, paralegal, educator, etc.
