The Eric Fund

The ERIC Fund was founded in 1998 due to the belief that individuals with disabilities, regardless of the severity, could and should lead independent lives in the community. The ERIC Fund helps provide assistive technology devices and equipment for individuals with disabilities to help them live, work, go to school, and participate actively in community life. This year the ERIC Fund will offer grant awards of up to $10,000 for eligible applications who meet the following criteria:

1. Live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area
2. Applicant must be 65 years of age
3. Applicants must have a disability
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and communicate in writing how they will utilize the assistive technology.
