Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind is hiring a Part-Time/Consultant Optometrist to work in Montgomery County, Maryland, and the surrounding area. The Optometrist will act as a representative for our brand and will help educate and refer clients to treatment services.

We provide a comprehensive range of programs and services for the nearly 180,000 people in Maryland, DC, and Virginia who are blind or visually impaired. Essential Functions:
- Provide comprehensive eye exams, refractions, and prescriptions to school-age students.
- Conduct routine eye examinations, including visual field tests.
- Evaluate eye-related symptoms, such as discharge, redness, and inflammation.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and refer clients to treatment services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.).
- State of Maryland professional license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
