Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind to Host Annual Children & Families’ Holiday Party

WHEN:

Saturday, December 8, 2012, 10:00 until 2:00 p.m.

WHERE:
Mount Airy Baptist Church, 1100 North Capitol Street,
NW, Washington, DC

DESCRIPTION:
Children who are low vision or blind and their families will celebrate the holidays at Columbia
Lighthouse for the Blind’s Annual Youth & Families’ Holiday Party. The Washington, DC Alumnae
Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity will provide each child with a toy, lunch and a day filled with fun!
The Greater Washington Metropolitan Chapter of National Association for Parents of Children with Visual
Impairments (NAPVI) will be available to assist and respond to questions. Featuring a parent workshop,
“Technology and Tips for Homework” Donations of hats, gloves, and scarves will be collected for people in need.
