Reel Abilities Film Festival

ReelAbilities is the largest film festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different abilities. Initiated in NY in 2007, the festival presents award-winning films by and about people with disabilities in multiple locations throughout each hosting city. Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.

On February 9th, the film, “Six Points About Emma” will be screened at two local theatres as part of the festival. It is a Spanish film about a woman who is blind and her quest to find a man. After each screening, Gail Snider of CLB will be the guest speaker and host a Q&A session.
