Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind Hosts Its First Annual
Light the Way 5K Fun Run/Walk

WHAT:         Washington, DC — Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind (CLB) invites you to its first annual Light the Way 5K, fun walk/run. The event is a family-friendly, non-competitive walk/run for all ages. Proceeds will benefit programs and services offered by CLB including: Senior Services, Bridge to Work for Veterans, and Children’s Programming. Come Make a Day of it! Participants who register online will get a game ticket for that night! All are welcome to participate either as a walker, runner, volunteer, or guide a runner or walker who is blind or visually impaired.

WHO:             Light the Way 5K is a CLB awareness and fundraising event organized to raise money to support programs and services to people who are blind or visually impaired. Sponsors include: Advanced Programs Group, Washington Nationals, Broad Street Realty, Safeway, McQuade.
